today's bed time story was Snow White.
this version ends with Snow White asking the Prince where she's going.
He answers, "you will be my bride."
K: Wait!!!!!!
E: what's wrong?!?
K: She can't marry someone she hardly knows! that's just so wrong!!!!
wow, you are so wise.....
Later, we discussed that she must have checked him out and realized he's rich so she married him for money.
it's not OK, but that's the only logical explanation. and this opened up a whole new discussion of maybe the queen wasn't so bad after all..... she saw right through this materialistic Snow White!
